Award winning exhibition
- April to October 10am to 5pm and November to March 10am to 4pm. Last entry an hour before the exhibition closes.
Journey through medieval England and discover the horrors of medieval warfare and how the Battle of Bosworth unfolded. Follow the fortunes of four characters: John the Archer, Colette the mercenary's wife, Alice the child & Lord Thomas Stanley and hear their stories during this turbulent time.

1485 Tithe Barn cafe
- Throughout January 2025 we are open 10.30am-3pm Monday to Saturday and 10am-3pm on Sundays.

If you are organising a day out with youngsters then a trip the Bosworth Heritage Centre is the perfect choice, as there are a range of activities including:
Family friendly guided walks, children’s trails, the exhibition (with activities for all the family), the 1485 Tithe Barn cafe, a wide range of talks, events and activities and the Bosworth Discovery Zone, a FREE space for families with young children.
Guided walks
Throughout the year our amazing team of Battlefield Guides delivers engaging guided walks around our 2km Battlefield Trail, explaining the Wars of the Roses, the Battle of Bosworth (with a recreation!), the death of King Richard III, the unlikely victory of Henry Tudor and what happened next.
Group visits
With ample coach parking and a number of exciting activities to choose from, the Battlefield centre is a great day out for your group. Our friendly bookings team can create an itinerary around visiting the exhibition, a guided walk, lunch or afternoon tea in the 1485 Tithe Barn cafe and maybe fit in some living history too!
School visits to Bosworth
Bosworth Battlefield Heritage Centre offers an excellent choice of high standard learning experiences for KS1 to undergraduates. Exploring the battle of Bosworth and its historical context, we also throw in physics, archaeology and the Roman Empire into the mix!
